Who is collecting your information
PIE Strategy Limited is the data user (controller) for the information you give us on this form. You can reach us at events@piestrategy.com or +852 9825 5899.
What we collect
- —Your name, organisation, job title and email address, and your mobile number if you choose to give it
- —Your answers on this form — whether you wish to attend, what interests you about the discussion, and anything you tell us in the notes box
- —If you are offered a place, your meal choice and any access or scheduling needs from the pre-event survey
- —Whether you attended, and your answers to the post-event survey if you complete one
Why we collect it
To consider your expression of interest and decide who can be offered a place; to write to you about this event; to cater and seat the room; and to run the event on the day. Giving us this information is voluntary, but we cannot consider you for a place without your name, organisation and email address.
Who we share it with
- —Our co-host the Centre for Impact Investing and Practices and our supporting organisation the Hong Kong Academy for Wealth Legacy receive a delegate list of name, organisation and job title only — never your email address or mobile number
- —The venue receives the numbers and the dietary and access requirements it needs in order to cater
- —Our email provider (Amazon Web Services) handles delivery of messages we send you
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone else for their own marketing.
What is said in the room
The roundtable is held under the Chatham House Rule. Any report drawn from the discussion reports contributions without attributing them, and any comment attributed to a named speaker is cleared with that speaker in advance.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we are working with you on this event and while you remain a contact for future PIE events, and we remove them sooner if you ask us to.
Your rights
Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop using it — including withdrawing your consent or asking to be removed from our list. Write to events@piestrategy.com and we will respond.
